Health Testing

All of our Tollers are given  comprehensive testing that include:

Degenerative Myelopathy (DM): An inherited spinal cord disorder causing gradual muscle wasting and loss of coordination.

Juvenile Addison’s Disease (JADD): An inherited form of Addison’s disease affecting young dogs.

Progressive Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd): A form of late-onset progressive retinal atrophy leading to blindness.

Cleft Palate (CP1 & CLPS): Genetic mutations responsible for distinct forms of cleft palate and associated structural anomalies.

Chondrodystrophy (CDDY / IVDD): A mutation linked to short-legged phenotypes and premature intervertebral disc degeneration.

Dilute DNA / Coat Color Variants: Tests identifying color dilution and pigmentation traits.

Cardiac Laminopathy (CLAM) is a fatal, inherited heart muscle disease that leads to the thinning, stretching, and weakening of the heart chambers.
